The Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Kilimanjaro

Tanzania holds the southern half of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, where the migration spends most of its year. The calving season on the southern short-grass plains in February is the single most concentrated wildlife event in Africa.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a caldera 20km across with a resident population that never leaves — the highest chance of seeing black rhino anywhere on the continent.

And Kilimanjaro, at 5,895m, is the highest walkable summit in the world: no technical climbing, but a genuine altitude challenge that rewards a slow route.
